LF125 Noise Barrier Panels

The LF125 noise barrier panels are stacked around the generator to form a modular noise barrier wall. As the top is left open, the heat from the generator rises naturally into the atmosphere, so there is no need for special ventilation. This saves on cost and greatly simplifies the design.

Retro Fit Your Existing Enclosure with Soundproofing

This is the the cheapest but also the most ineffective method. It would seem like the obvious choice but there are two big factors which count against it:

1) Difficult access

These are prefabricated, closed units with very limited access - this makes if difficult to remove the old ineffective soundproofing and install something better. Even if you undertake to do this exercise you won't be able to get to all the areas - which will compromise the end result.

2) Limited space available inside the housing

Ideally you need 100mm thick soundproofing to attenuate the low frequency noise which generators produce however for the most part there is only about 30mm space available. Installing much thinner soundproofing will mean that it'll only be effective in the high frequency range. While this is better than nothing it's hardly a best case scenario.
